A little about me!

Hi i’m Arwen and I’ve been around horses for the last 6 years starting off helping at The Grove Riding School down the road from me, eventually riding there and working for them! I owe a lot to The Grove as it has gained me valuable knowledge, given me countless oporrunities to care and ride the horses and have helped me out time and time again. About 3 years ago I started an equine management collage course working for The Grove as well as for Nathalie Kayal a grand prix dressage rider on the side, after this I also did some work experience at another yard called Little Hatch Dressage which built up my riding abilities and gave me valuable insight into the industry.
I can’t say I’ve always been great around the horses, if you ask people who knew me when I first started out I would jump at them sneezing and basically spend the day at the stables watching them in their boxes not helping out much at all! But I kept coming back and never left! I’ve worked hard and learnt a lot since then and I can say I well and truly love working with these wonderful animals rain or shine - although I do need to dress up as a marshmallow in the cold!
I’m now studying at Nottingham Trent University doing an equine science degree and want to gain more experience and earn a living on the side as doing this hence this business!
