Meet April - the dreamer behind the ride! From a young age, I’ve had one goal: to ride at the 5* level. This journey isn’t easy, but with determination, hard work, and an incredible support team, I’m doing everything I can to make it happen. Growing up in a horse-loving family as a third-generation equestrian, I’ve experienced the highs and lows of the sport—being part of Pony Club, competing, and learning every step of the way. While I dream big, I have my mum to keep me grounded (even if she has to remind me when I’m getting ahead of myself!). One of the biggest blessings in my journey has been Jazz—she has been a truly life-changing ride. I feel incredibly lucky to own a small part of her and have the opportunity to compete her. I absolutely love eventing for the thrill and adrenaline—it’s what makes the sport so special to me. From the technical precision of dressage to the speed and bravery of cross-country, every phase pushes me to be a better rider. I also look up to Boyd Martin as a rider for his compassion and complete dedication to the sport. His work ethic and horsemanship are something I truly admire (and yes, I’m still working on converting Mum into a fan!). Alongside my riding, I’m also studying Veterinary Nursing at Hartpury, combining my love for animals with my career ambitions. For now, hang on and enjoy the ride—it’s going to be an exciting one! 🚀🏇

Meet Mum - The backbone of the Dream! There isn’t much this woman doesn’t know when it comes to horses! With a wealth of experience from Pony Club and Naphill Riding Club, plus being second-generation horses, she is a huge part of making this dream happen. Mum is the realist of the team—while I dream big, she keeps me grounded, making sure my aspirations for the season stay achievable. She’s always there to offer wisdom, support, and, of course, put up with my endless Boyd Martin TikToks (one day, I’ll convert her into a fan!). For now, she remains loyal to Mark Todd and Lucinda Green. Without her, this journey wouldn’t be possible—so here’s to the woman behind the scenes, keeping it all together!
