Julia was born on February 19th, 1992 in Trostberg an der Alz in beautiful Bavaria. Julia sat on a horse for the first time at the age of 3, and since then horses have been an integral part of her life. Julia's mother Bettina was always by Julia's side from an early age and taught her to ride from the ground up, and her father Bernhard, who never sat on horseback, supported her wherever he could. At the age of just 15, Julia won her first S show jumping, only 3 years later she was awarded the gold riding badge. Meanwhile, Julia has numerous victories and placements up to CSI **** as well as various titles such as multiple Bavarian champion. Julia was able to successfully take part in various Nations Cups in the junior / young rider period several times. One of her greatest successes was winning the bronze medal at the 2018 German Championship in Balve. In May 2018 Julia moved to her partner Fritz Kogelnig and since then has been running the riding facility in St. Veit an der Glan / Austria, which Fritz took over from his grandfather in 2008.
