About Us

Kensington SA was bought as an unbroken 2 year old and broken in by ourselves as a 4 year old. Rupert was less mature then the other horses at this age and he didn’t start his competitive career until his 5 year old year. 
He competed in age classes as a 5 year old and has been slowly produced up the levels. He has a very sharp temperament so we have allowed him time to develop. He is now happily jumping foxhunters and has stepped up to jump his first 1.25 class. 

He has qualified for and competed at Blue Chip championships in 2023 & 2024. 
Competed at the National Championships 2023 and qualified for 2024 and is currently working towards stepping up to 1.30s this summer.

After a very busy winter, I have finally had time to sit down and do some updates on the website. 
Despite a VERY long and wet winter we've been super busy and had some lovely horses to work with! 
At the end of 2023, we were lucky enough to attend the National Amateur Championships with my top horse Hugo RS. We had a fantastic show finishing with winning the 1.15 Championship! 

My own competition horses then went on their holidays and we've had some lovely horses to compete over the winter which his definitely helped me keep me eye in ready for spring. We've also been kept very busy with lots of lovely breaking and schooling liveries. 

As we finally head in to spring, we have a lovely string of horses to compete both of our own and for their owners. We're regulary competing right from novice up to 1.30 level. Keep an eye on our social media pages for competition and livery updates!

*Website Update*

What a fantastic couple of weeks the girls have had competing for Bishop Burton NSEA team!

I am lucky enough to coach the lovely group of girls from Bishop Burton College. We train every Monday evening with the girls regularly competing to pick up their qualifications!

Firstly the girls headed to Northallerton Equestrian Centre (braving the freezing cold!) to win both their showjumping qualifiers and pick up their first tickets to Hickstead & Royal International at both 90cm and 1m. 

The following week the same team headed to Epworth Equestrian Centre to gain their arena eventing qualifications again in both 90cm and 1m with 2 team wins and an individual win! 
As well as this the Bishop Burton girls gained another Hickstead qualification with an individual win in the 80cm qualifier! 

I couldn’t be happier for all the girls! Their hard work and commitment to both training and competitions has definitely payed off and they’ve got an exciting few months ahead!
