Joined by Harry Charles, John Whitaker and Joe Stockdale, Jack travelled to St Gallen, Switzerland to represent Great Britain in the Nation Cup of Switzerland.

The British Team were the only team to jump two clears in the first round, courtesy of  John and Unick du Francport and Harry Charles riding Casquo Blue. 

These clears were two of only 8 clear rounds in the first round across the 8 nations.

An unfortunate 2 fences from the team in round 2 left the British team on a final score of 12, just under 2.5 time penalties behind The Netherlands who finished in 2nd place, also with a final score of 12.

The competition was won by Switzerland who finished on 8 penalties.

Jack Whitaker is the son of Michael Whitaker and has been riding for as long as he can remember. Some of his best results include individual gold on the pony europeans in 2016 and a team silver medal at the youth olympics in 2018. his passion has always been with horses and he hopes to continue developing his skills throughout his career.

A podium finish for Jack and Madrid in Motion

There were plenty of treats for Elucar VE as he continues his fantastic form with a 2nd place in the Longines 1.50m World Ranking Class in at the Kingsland Oslo Horse Show this evening.

Drawn tenth to go out of a field of 39 horses, Jack and Elucar jumped a superb speedy clear, to cross the line in 63.54 seconds, just 1.19 seconds behind the winner of the class, Julien Anquetin riding Blood Diamond du Pont.

The team from Great Britain won the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Challenge Cup on Saturday at Barcelona. Jack and Valmy de La Lunde were part of the winning squad alongside John Whitaker, Holly Smith. Emily Moffitt and Harry Charles.

Jack and his classy grey gelding Elucar VE were Saturday's 1.45 winners at Maubeuge 3* in France.

Jack crossed the line in a time of 44.05 seconds, beating his Uncle, John Whitaker who finished 2nd on board Old Lodge owned Sharid.

Michael and Flinstering finished Saturday's Prix Laurent Laboureur 1.60 class in second place.

Michael and Q Paravatti N were 5th in Friday's Prix Treille Avocats, with Jack and Valmy De La Lande finishing in 7th.

Once again, both Michael and Jack were in the placings on Sunday's 1.60 Grand Prix Lorban TP / Ville De Maubeuge, with Michael and Q Paravatti N finishing 5th and Jack and Valmy De La Lunde finishing in 9th place.

Jack and Michael were both in the placings at Longines CSI Ascona 4* this week.

Jack and Elucar VE took 4th place in The Premio KESSEL AUTO Lugano 1.50m class on Friday.

Michael and Flinstering finished 3rd in Sundays Premio LIEBHERR AG Bulle 1.45m class, with Jack and Elucar VE finishing in 4th place.

With 6 horses between them, both Michael and Jack had fantastic results this week in Valence.
 
Michael won the 1.45 Grand Prix on Sunday with Parkmore Rowan while Jack was 2nd in Saturday's 1.50 Speed Class with Elucar V.E.

Michael was also placed during the week with Flinstering and Q Paravatti N, as was Jack with 
Scelentha, and Valmy De La Lande.
