Back home late yesterday after a couple of days jumping at Bury Farm. It was a great experience for the two younger horses we took who have barely/never jumped indoors. Our own 6yr old gelding “Krossan” jumped double clear in the newcomers both days, delighted with his honest approach even when he had never seen an arena like it! @hannahjoywarnetts talented 6yr old mare “Vegas Z” jumped a great round in the newcomers both days for 1 pole down having made an honest baby mistake at her first indoor event. “Miss Contendro” jumped a lovely double clear in the 1.25m qualifier. Feeling nicely set up for the winter classic at Keysoe now in a fortnight.

Bury Farm

Yesterday we headed to Pyecombe to try & collect some more tickets to the winter nationals. After having a well deserved month in the field after her win at Hickstead our 5yr old homebred mare “Balou Tropics” jumped a fast time in a big class to take 5th place and gain qualification for blue chips in the discovery class. Our 6yr old “Krossan”
Jumped a lovely double clear to take 12th, and a miscommunication on “Vegas Z” in the jump off meant we had 1 down which was such a shame as she had a super quick round too. Was great for Katie and Mr B to join us and have a jump round the arena eventing whilst we were there. We have a couple of days at home now before we head to Bury Farm for the All stars Show.

Pyecombe Horse Show

Michael started riding at the early age of  years. His first pony was called Dancer . It was with his grey mare Razzamatazz that he competed BSJA from 9-12. At 12 years he began producing a quality coloured gelding called Shamus. Michael competed him through the pony club ranks, eventing, showjumping and also with CHAPS, qualifying him for the Royal International Horse Show.

At 15 years Michael bought “Another Abstract” a coloured mare that went on with numerous placings in CHAPS and Eventing. It was Michaels next horse “Coole Dude” that was to be a career changing purchase, and a massive influence into where Michael stands today, he proved to be a horse of a lifetime.

Originally Coole Dude was bought as a 4 year old from David Bartram as a Hunter potential. Michael began producing him successfully as a hunter until the foot and mouth outbreak. With showing classes around the country cancelled, they turned their efforts to Dressage, where a few competitions were running locally. Their outstanding success at this new sport encouraged them into affiliating with British Dressage, where the partnership never looked back.

During this time Michael was training with Bereiter Markus Bauer. They went from strength to strength and in the short space of 2 years were competing at Prix St George. Due to their success, they were selected to represent Great Britain on the Young Rider squad. Being a part of the British team they benefited from training with some of the best trainers the UK has to offer, including Markus Bauer, Jennie Loriston-Clarke, Emile Faurie and Micheal Assouline.

With Michaels sound knowledge of producing horses through the grades he channelled his experience into young horses acquired from some of the top Dressage bloodlines in Germany. His obvious eye for potential star talent has seen him produce his acquired youngstock regularly in the top ten 4 and 5 year old young Dressage Horse Finals in the UK.  

Michaels dedication and sound relationship with owners has seen him achieve a National title, a win in the Dressage Masters Championships & the title of the 5yr old International young dressage horse at Hickstead, aboard a horse produced solely by him. Over the years he has now won 5 Regional Championships.

With Michaels character for patience and perfection, he continues to produce outstanding young horses in an exceptional correct manner, whilst also competing across the country at National level. With his immaculate attention to detail, his time is also much sought after for training others in the sport, spending time with private clients and teaching at clinics.

Wow, it is finally finished and we are able to ride on our stunning new arena from Equestrian Surfaces Ltd. The arena has their cushion track classic surface laid on it. A massive thank you to Chris Morgan from D&C GroundTec, and to Rob and Tyler for all their hard work. Their attention to detail was second to none, and the outcome is just what we had hoped and dreamed for.

Wow what an amazing 2 days we have had a Bury Farm for their 2 day British Dressage competition. Our own and Emily Ward Hansen’s talented gelding “Huphill” dominated the Mediums winning all 4!!! On day 1 he took the medium 73 with 75.29% & the medium 61 with 72.76%. Day 2 he won the medium 75 with 75.81% & the medium 69 with 76.52% taking all four wins with a clear margin!! It was great to gain enough points at this competition to qualify him him for the regional finals 👌

Just Equine

We operate an equine waste collection service using a grab loader and a container system.

The waste is classified as agricultural and it's spread onto the land; this puts the goodness back into soil and improves crop quality and yield.

We also operate a paddock sweeping, harrowing and rolling service.

Our coverage at present stretches from East Hampshire to East Sussex, and into Surrey. We collect from large livery yards, racing stables and individual clients with one or two horses.

We hold a current and valid waste carriers licence and recent ventures include an 8cyd skip system for individual customers. Our contracting division deals with bulk muck removal and spreading. This operation usually requires a site visit to price the work.
