Back home late yesterday after a couple of days jumping at Bury Farm. It was a great experience for the two younger horses we took who have barely/never jumped indoors. Our own 6yr old gelding “Krossan” jumped double clear in the newcomers both days, delighted with his honest approach even when he had never seen an arena like it! @hannahjoywarnetts talented 6yr old mare “Vegas Z” jumped a great round in the newcomers both days for 1 pole down having made an honest baby mistake at her first indoor event. “Miss Contendro” jumped a lovely double clear in the 1.25m qualifier. Feeling nicely set up for the winter classic at Keysoe now in a fortnight.

Bury Farm

Yesterday we headed to Pyecombe to try & collect some more tickets to the winter nationals. After having a well deserved month in the field after her win at Hickstead our 5yr old homebred mare “Balou Tropics” jumped a fast time in a big class to take 5th place and gain qualification for blue chips in the discovery class. Our 6yr old “Krossan”
Jumped a lovely double clear to take 12th, and a miscommunication on “Vegas Z” in the jump off meant we had 1 down which was such a shame as she had a super quick round too. Was great for Katie and Mr B to join us and have a jump round the arena eventing whilst we were there. We have a couple of days at home now before we head to Bury Farm for the All stars Show.

Pyecombe Horse Show

The jumpers had a mini break after Hickstead, so we were back on it today at Pyecombe to start chasing the winter qualifiers and it was a WIN for “Miss Contendro” in the 1.25m blue chip qualifier 🔥 “Krossan” had a nice trip round the disco for 3rd place. That’s our first ticket to the winters in the bag, hoping to get them all qualified before xmas so they can have a mini break through jan & Feb. 

Just back home from the National Championships at Somerford with “Huphill”, We are delighted with how he coped at his first ever major championships, soaking up the lovely big arenas & atmosphere. We were in the gold elementary, Where sadly a few small mistakes just ate away at our score leaving us with 68% but overall We are really happy with how it all went. It was great for him to gain more experience at a busy event, and has no doubt come away with even more confidence for his bright future ahead. We are looking forward now to his first advanced medium at the high profile in November at Keysoe. 


British Dressage National Championships

What a great week we had at Hickstead for their first leg of the September tour, the weather was amazing and all the horses jumped some super rounds.
“Miss Contendro” was 6th on day 1 in the 1.20, but a fence down in the jump off the next 2 days meant we missed out on qualifying for the main ring as we had some really competitive rounds.
Our 6yr old gelding “Krossan” jumped some cracking rounds in the newcomers to gain his last double clear for second rounds 2022. 
Our homebred 5yr old mare “Balou Tropics “ had a placing on day 1 in the 1m open and went on to win the Novice later in the week holding the lead from 5th to go right to the end of the class, taking home a prestigious Hickstead rug. 
Hannah Warnett’s talented 6yr old mare “Vegas Z” jumped some super smooth rounds to take placings in the 1m classes all week with her highest placing being 3rd. This was my first time riding her in the ring and it was nice to get to know her round some smaller classes before stepping up at the next show.

We operate an equine waste collection service using a grab loader and a container system.

The waste is classified as agricultural and it's spread onto the land; this puts the goodness back into soil and improves crop quality and yield.

We also operate a paddock sweeping, harrowing and rolling service.

Our coverage at present stretches from East Hampshire to East Sussex, and into Surrey. We collect from large livery yards, racing stables and individual clients with one or two horses.

We hold a current and valid waste carriers licence and recent ventures include an 8cyd skip system for individual customers. Our contracting division deals with bulk muck removal and spreading. This operation usually requires a site visit to price the work.
