Casey Whitaker began riding Hunters in 1988 at Chastain Stables. She has rode with trainers such as Grand Prix and International Derby rider Daniel Geitner, FEI Grand Prix rider Berry Lane, Nancy Lane, Equitation trainer Linda Allen, and Bob Buxton. She started competing at AA in 1998 in the Children's Hunters then in 1999 in the Children's Jumpers. She has competed along the east from Pennsylvania down to Florida. She has brought along many successful horses and riders to the AA level.

Casey is a certified trainer through USHJA trainer certification program. She is also a certified PEMF practitioner.​
