Have you noticed your horse yawning, licking and chewing during treatments?
The use of massage and electrotherapy’s work to loosen up their muscles and any stress or tension that may have developed throughout their bodies. I have noticed that many horses tend to yawn as a sign that there is tension being released throughout the body.
This is called the the Sympathetic-Parasympathetic shift.
