I began LHS following the success of a mare my husband and I bought as a weanling having lost a foal we bred . The filly became Isla Blyge aka Jemima who was produced by Helen and her sister Nici Wilson . She was then ridden to Intermediate level by Daisy Berkeley and finally by Nici who took her to advanced level completing the then 3*(now4*) at Hartpury Horse Trials with a double clear .
We bred from Jemima using embryo transfer while she was still competing , the result being Victor aka Will O Blyge .
Having moved to Little Headdon in 2015 we expanded our programme to breed on a commercial basis .
To date we have bred some lovely horse all appearing to be the right type with good conformation & movement and importantly great temperaments .
The horses go off at 3 yrs to be backed at MJM Equestrian where Martin Mullins starts them gently and quietly . They go back at late 3/ early 4 yrs to be restarted and then I take them over until they are ready for Helens expertise .
