Developed by equestrians to provide horses with the best bedding possible. Every grade A bale goes through a vigorous production process using advanced screening technology to meticulously remove dust particles. Our shavings are sold directly to you, the consumer, which means we can offer an unbeatable price without compromising product quality.

Our family owned parent company Dagless ltd was established in 1945. We produce a range of timber Structures in the UK. Our factories occupy some 20 acres, they have been developed over the years into modern well equipped efficient facilities employing some 200 persons. These facilities include a planing mill, self-contained joinery production, undercover timber store, large warehouses for finished products and new state of the art baling plant.

We produce baled softwood shavings from FSC certified kiln dried timber. During the timber moulding process shavings and sawdust are produced and travel pneumatically to silos, they are then baled into our different ranges of products which can be found on our shop page.

We believe in providing an environmentally sustainable product which is why our shavings are never produced from fresh logs; we only ever use softwood shavings which are produced during the manufacturing process of timber products.
